Multiple Murders Under Investigation in Various Kenyan Counties

Police across several regions in Kenya are currently investigating a series of murders, each with its own unique circumstances and unresolved motives. The cases span different counties, highlighting the ongoing challenges law enforcement faces in maintaining public safety.

Magwagwa Area, Nyamira County

In the Magwagwa area of Nyamira County, a 34-year-old man was found abandoned on the roadside. According to police reports, the victim, identified as Moses Nyamoyo, had been murdered elsewhere before being left on the Magwagwa-Nyamusi road on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. He was taken to a hospital where he was confirmed dead. The motive behind the killing remains unknown, and the body has since been moved to the mortuary for further examination.

Itonge Area, Nyamira County

In a separate case, a suspect has been arrested in Narok Town in connection with the murder of his wife, Nancy Monyangi, 42, who was killed in the Itonge area. Police have stated that the suspect is currently in custody in Nyamira and is awaiting arraignment for murder. The details surrounding the incident are still under investigation.

In Nairobi’s Dandora area, detectives are looking into the death of a Sudanese man, Matedio Lobalu Lokaye. In Mbuyuni, Rabai, Kilifi County, a man was found dead on the roadside with his body abandoned in a pool of blood. According to police, the assailant used a blunt object during the attack. The deceased was identified as Tuva Kahindi Makanga. While the motive for the murder remains unknown, it is noted that the victim was off-duty at the time of the incident.
