“Power for Power”: Regina Daniels Confronts Ned Nwoko

Regina Daniels Expresses Gratitude and Mocks Ex-Husband Amid Marital Crisis

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has recently taken to social media to express her gratitude for the overwhelming support she has received from fans, colleagues, and friends during a difficult time in her life. The actress, known for her powerful presence on screen and off, shared an emotional video on her Instagram page that highlights her resilience and determination.

In the video, Daniels thanked her supporters while also taking a subtle jab at her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. She expressed disbelief that he might have thought the public would turn against her. “Do you know it is such a big deal to be loved by a lot of people? Can I brag on that? Can I actually brag that I am loved?” she asked. “Jokes on you, Ned, because you thought people would hate me.”

The mother of two revealed that she has received a tremendous amount of support both online and offline. She mentioned that many individuals, including friends, fans, and celebrities, have stood by her throughout the ordeal. This support became even more significant after her brother’s recent release from police custody.

“Type shit, and my brother is out. One battle down. You people mocked me on this internet, but the mockery gave me courage to stand because I don’t like to be mocked or pitied,” she added.

Daniels, who appeared relieved about her brother’s freedom, said the past few weeks had been emotionally draining but strengthened her faith in her support system. She emphasized the importance of having a strong network of people who believe in her.

Following the video, several celebrities, including Mercy Johnson, Mercy Aigbe, Mary Njoku, Toyin Lawani, Doris Ogala, Yvonne Jegede, Oma Nnadi, and Georgina Onuoha, publicly expressed solidarity with her. Their messages of support were a clear indication of the respect and admiration they have for the actress.

The actress’s recent remarks come amid escalating tension between her and Nwoko. Two weeks earlier, Regina had alleged that she suffered domestic violence during her marriage, saying she was treated “like a prisoner” in her husband’s house.

Nwoko, in response, denied the allegations, accusing the actress of battling “drug and alcohol abuse” and exhibiting violent behavior at home — claims Regina has strongly refuted.

The feud took a darker turn when the actress claimed that Nwoko ordered the arrest of her siblings after she refused to return to him or attend a rehabilitation program. She further alleged that her brother was “beaten like a criminal” by the police on Nwoko’s orders.

Despite the controversies, Daniels insists she has no regrets about her marriage, describing it as a necessary part of her life’s journey.

“I don’t regret anything,” she declared earlier. “My marriage to Ned was a path I was meant to take.”
