
American fashion designer Nick Verreos has expressed his admiration for BTS member V. In a recent appearance on his podcastThe Fashion Daddies, Verreos introduced V as his new muse. He highlighted the significant impact V has had in the fashion industry, stating, “V recorded the highest EMV, estimated monetary value, as an individual Korean star during the last Paris Fashion Week.” Verreos also noted that V has been promoting various brands, including the luxury brand Celine.
He added, “What I like most is his airport fashion,” and concluded with a heartfelt message: “TaeTae (V’s nickname), I am now your fan.”

Verreos gained recognition through the American fashion reality showProject RunwaySeason 2. He later became a mentor onProject Runway: Under the Gun, helping the show achieve success. Currently, he serves as the dean of design at FIDM, Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, a renowned fashion school in the western United States.
V attended theCeline 2026 Spring Collectionfashion show held at the brand’s headquarters in Paris, France, in July. As an ambassador for the brand, he attracted considerable attention. Many guests were eager to take photos with him, and even Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour, a prominent figure in the fashion industry, met with V. She invited him to theVogue Worldevent in Hollywood, saying, “I hope you will definitely attend the event in Hollywood this October.”
V accepted the invitation from Wintour, who is famously known as the real-life inspiration for the movieThe Devil Wears Prada. He traveled to Los Angeles, United States, on the 26th of last month and participated in2025 Vogue World: Hollywoodheld at Paramount Studios.
During the event, V made a striking appearance by showcasing outfits that reinterpreted traditional Korean hanbok in a modern style. His look included a wide-brimmed fedora resembling a gat and a gray coat. Notably, he wore a red norigae sash adorned with traditional Korean patterns and jade around his waist. The outfit was reportedly designed by the Korean brand Jaybaek Couture, inspired by royal attire from the Joseon Dynasty.
V’s fashion choices sparked widespread discussion both domestically and internationally. Maggie Kang, director of the popular Netflix animationKPop Demon Hunters, shared a photo of V on her social media, captioning it with, “BTS V = Saja Boys Jinu.” This further solidified V’s influence and appeal in the global fashion scene.
