The community of Bobasi Constituency has been deeply affected by the sudden passing of Augustine Nyandoro Mose, a prominent figure who had expressed his interest in the parliamentary seat for the 2027 General Election. His death occurred on Sunday, November 9, while he was undergoing treatment for injuries sustained in a road crash in Nairobi.

According to Michael Motume, the Masige East Ward Member of County Assembly (MCA), Nyandoro’s condition deteriorated despite being rushed to the hospital after the accident. His untimely death has left many in shock and mourning.

A Lasting Legacy

Motume shared a personal memory of his last meeting with Nyandoro, where the latter spoke about his vision for Bobasi Constituency. “I encouraged him and wished him well,” Motume recalled. He also extended his condolences to Nyandoro’s family and friends, expressing hope that God would provide strength during this difficult time.

Nyandoro, known as Emamba, had previously run for the Bassi Bogetaorio MCA post but was unsuccessful. His passing has been met with widespread grief, with many Kenyans describing him as a promising leader with a clear vision for development.

The late aspirant’s death has sparked an outpouring of grief across the region. Friends and supporters have taken to social media to express their sorrow and pay tribute to his legacy.

Arsenal Terry Grace shared a heartfelt message: “It’s with profound shock that I have learnt of the untimely loss of my friend Hon. Augustine Mose Nyandoro, a soft-spoken man who knew how to calculate his moves and always created a happy environment for himself and those he loved. Bro, we still had a lot on the table to square out. Emamba your death has hit me the hardest.”

Kaka Williams Mogire Atandi wrote: “May our heartfelt hugs reach the entire family and the entire Omogusii for this tragic loss. We mourn together. Makiwa the Mose family.”

Oyaro Fred added: “We have lost a visionary leader, very focused, and respectful. Rest in peace, wakili, till we meet.”

Samwel Abel expressed his deep loss: “I have lost a teacher, friend, relative, and mentor. To the entire Bobasi Constituency, Boitangare ward, family, and friends of Mwomara village, accept my heartfelt condolences, and let his soul rest in eternal peace.”

William Simba lamented: “Ooh no… who will take his ever-ailing mother to the hospital for a checkup? Ooh no, Emamba. My good friend, I lack words; the gap you have left behind can never be filled. It’s painful.”
