C&S Chief Calls on Tinubu to Tackle Insecurity and Suffering

Call for Unity and Faith in the Face of Challenges

The Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide (Ayo Ni O) has urged President Bola Tinubu to redouble efforts in addressing the pressing issues of insecurity and economic hardship in Nigeria. The church also emphasized the importance of unity and renewed faith among citizens, calling for collective action and spiritual strength.

This appeal was made during the 2025 Annual Conference and Convention of the C&S Movement Church Worldwide. The event took place at the Galilee Campground in Orile-Igbon, located along the Ilorin–Ogbomoso Expressway in Oyo State. The gathering occurred on Saturday night, with the Spiritual Father and Chairman of the church, His Most Eminence, Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Alogbo, delivering a powerful message.

Alogbo acknowledged that Nigeria has shown signs of growth under the current administration but expressed concern over persistent socio-economic challenges and widespread insecurity. He stated, “The state of our country, Nigeria, is steadily growing, and the country is gradually overcoming socio-economic challenges. However, we observe with deep concern the displacement and violence in communities where Christians are predominantly populated, especially in Southern Kaduna.”

In addition to the socio-economic issues, Alogbo highlighted the increasing impact of climate change on Nigerian communities. He cited recent floods that have caused significant hardship, homelessness, and property loss. “Many of our people are affected by climate change incidents such as floods, causing hardship, homelessness, and loss of properties. We must continue to pray for our country and support the present administration in its efforts to combat insecurity and improve the standard of living for ordinary Nigerians,” he said.

A Platform for Spiritual Renewal

The Chairman of the Convention Committee, Special Apostle, Pastor Adetunji Ajibade, spoke about the significance of the annual gathering. He described it as a platform for spiritual renewal for members across the nation. “This convention marks another milestone in our spiritual journey. It is a sacred opportunity to renew our faith, refocus our mission, and re-energise our spirits for the divine mandate of our Heavenly Father,” he said.

Ajibade also congratulated Prophet Alogbo on his recent enthronement as the Supreme Head (Olori) of the Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria. He described this recognition as well-deserved, highlighting Alogbo’s spiritual wisdom and leadership.

Innovations at the 2025 Conference

Highlighting the innovations at the 2025 conference, Ajibade revealed that the church introduced several new activities to foster unity, fellowship, and healthy living among members. These included online registration, an inter-zonal Bible quiz, a musical concert, and a novelty football match. “We urge participants to engage in meaningful discussions and create an environment of transparency, cooperation, and love,” he added.

A Gathering of Faith and Hope

The 2025 Annual Conference and Convention continues through the weekend, drawing thousands of faithful from across Nigeria and beyond. Attendees are coming together for prayers, worship, and reflection on the nation’s future. The event serves as a reminder of the power of faith and the importance of unity in overcoming the challenges facing the country.
