TOKYO – Starting late December, travelers departing from Tokyo for international flights will have the opportunity to witness the world’s largest indoor Godzilla installation. This impressive display is set to become a new attraction at the bustling Haneda airport, drawing attention from both locals and tourists alike.
The Godzilla monument, which depicts the legendary reptilian monster as if emerging from a building, stands approximately 40 meters long and 9 meters high. It will be located in the departures lobby of Haneda’s Terminal 3, offering a striking visual experience for all who pass by.

According to its official website, the monster has appeared in over 30 films, both within Japan and internationally. In addition to the main monument, images of Godzilla and other monsters from the films will be displayed above the information counter on the second floor of the arrivals lobby.
