Alpha’s mother, Rose Manyali, shared her heart-wrenching story with a local news outlet. She revealed that her son had been acting differently in recent days, showing signs of stress and emotional turmoil. However, she did not initially think much of it, believing it to be a normal phase of adolescence.
Manyali described how Alpha had left home early that morning, dressed in his school uniform and ready for the day. He was fine when he woke up this morning, dressed for school, and studies at Garden Estate Secondary School. His teachers noticed he hadn’t arrived and alerted me. I just want him to come home,” she said, her voice breaking with emotion.
The mother expressed deep concern about her son’s well-being, especially since he was in the final stages of his KCSE exams. “I don’t understand what’s happening,” she added, tears streaming down her face. “He has been having issues. I’m a single mother, and he kept talking about giving up and lacking motivation. I never thought he would disappear.”
Despite the uncertainty, Manyali remains hopeful that her son will return soon. She has been actively searching the area, including Roysambu, but has yet to find any trace of him. She also mentioned that Alpha did not inform his friends or anyone else about his whereabouts, which has made the search even more challenging.
