National Chamber Choir “Madrigal – Marin Constantin” Announces 2025 Christmas Tour
The National Chamber Choir “Madrigal – Marin Constantin” has announced its 2025 “Madrigal de Crăciun” tour, set to take place between December 3 and 21. This year’s tour will feature eight holiday concerts across seven cities in Romania, offering a unique opportunity for audiences to experience the choir’s traditional and contemporary Christmas performances.
Under the direction of conductor Anna Ungureanu, the ensemble will perform in Cluj-Napoca, Târgu Mureș, Sibiu, Iași, Botoșani, Bucharest, and Craiova. Each concert will also include participation from children’s choirs from the Cantus Mundi National Program, which brings together young talents from each host city.

The tour will begin on December 3 in Cluj-Napoca, followed by performances in Târgu Mureș on December 5 and Sibiu on December 6. Additional concerts are scheduled for Iași on December 12, Botoșani on December 13, and Bucharest on December 18 and 19. The tour will conclude on December 21 in Craiova.
Each city will offer a unique experience, with the choir presenting a mix of traditional and modern interpretations of Christmas music. The inclusion of local children’s choirs adds a special touch to the performances, highlighting the importance of community and cultural exchange.
