Nestlé Ghana Celebrates Loyal Consumers with Grand Finale of NIDO Obaatanpa Mo Promotion

Nestlé Ghana Ltd. recently held a grand finale event to celebrate and reward its loyal consumers as part of the second edition of the NIDO Obaatanpa Mo Promotion. The event was a heartfelt gesture to thank mothers and families across the country for their continued trust in the NIDO brand.

This year’s promotion ran from May to July 2025, and it attracted an impressive number of participants, with over 99,026 entries recorded nationwide. More than 30,000 consumers were rewarded through mini-draws, creating widespread excitement and appreciation throughout the country.

During the grand finale, winners were celebrated with a variety of prizes. These included:

  • 5 refrigerators
  • 10 beautifully woven Kente cloths
  • 10 cash prizes of GH¢5,000 each
  • 5 ultimate winners who received an all-expense-paid weekend getaways with their ‘Plus One’ at the serene Safari Valley Resort, along with a GH¢5,000 stipend

A Celebration of Loyalty and Community

Speaking at the event, Ifeanyichukwu Orabuche, Business Executive Officer-Dairy, Central & West Africa Region, praised the impressive number of entries, which she said reflected the deep love for the NIDO brand.

She stated: “When we see over 99,000 entries and over 30,000 families rewarded, it tells us that NIDO has become a part of your life. The purpose is to create and share value, make sure that what we do as a business also creates joy, opportunity and hope for the communities and the people connect to us.”

Myron Otoo, Category Manager for Beverages and Dairy at Nestlé Ghana Ltd., expressed his gratitude to all participants. He emphasized the importance of the promotion, stating:

“The NIDO Obaatanpa Mo Promotion is a celebration of mothers – those whose love and sacrifice shape the next generation. Through this initiative, we honour their care, strength and unwavering loyalty to NIDO.”

Salomé Azevedo, Managing Director-Nestlé Ghana, highlighted that the promotion goes beyond a simple consumer campaign. She described it as a way to build meaningful connections with the people the brand serves.
