Pakistan and Iran Strengthen Media and Broadcasting Collaboration
Pakistan and Iran have taken significant steps to enhance their bilateral relations through the signing of several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). These agreements focus on fostering collaboration in the media and broadcasting sectors, marking a new phase in the longstanding relationship between the two nations.

This gesture symbolized the historic friendship between the two nations.
The minister noted that Pakistan’s media and government have consistently stood with Iran during challenging times, showcasing the resilience and spirit of the Iranian people to the world. He expressed satisfaction that the partnership had now taken tangible form through these agreements.
Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam described the current phase of Pakistan-Iran relations as stronger than ever, crediting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s support and President Pezeshkian’s visit for opening a new chapter of cooperation.
IRIB World Service Vice President Ahmad Norozi lauded Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian cause and announced Iran’s proposal for a joint film series on Allama Iqbal. This initiative marks a landmark in cultural collaboration between the two countries. He also revealed plans for Iranian media institutions to conduct training programs and international workshops for Pakistani journalists and students.
Praising the courage of journalists, Norozi recalled how IRIB teams continued their work even during wartime conditions. His remarks underscored the importance of media in maintaining communication and understanding during difficult times.
