Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State cast his vote at Polling Unit 002, located on Umuezeadigo Street in his hometown, Isuofia, within the Aguata Local Government Area. The event took place on Saturday, as the governor, who is vying for a second term under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) banner, arrived at the polling station around 1:13 p.m. He voted after completing the necessary accreditation process.

Reports indicate that prior to election day, Soludo urged Anambra residents to participate in the voting process in large numbers and to do so peacefully. He emphasized the importance of active participation in ensuring the continued strength of democracy. His message was clear: every citizen’s voice matters in shaping the future of the state.

In addition, Soludo described his bid for re-election as a divine calling. He highlighted his commitment to building upon the developmental achievements of his administration, particularly in key areas such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, and security across Anambra State.
