Murder Case in Kisii County

In the Magena area of Kisii County, authorities are looking into the murder of a 20-year-old man named Tomson Osiemo. His body was found abandoned by the roadside with head injuries. According to police reports, Osiemo had been missing from his home for one night before his body was discovered. The motive behind the killing is still under investigation, and no arrests have been made so far. His body has been moved to the mortuary for an autopsy and further inquiries.

Death in Sigomere, Siaya County

In a separate incident in Sigomere, Siaya County, police are investigating the death of Bernard Okoth, a 40-year-old man. His body was found lying in a pool of blood with multiple cuts to the head and legs. The motive for the attack remains unclear, and the body was taken to the mortuary for a postmortem examination.

In Narok County, police are probing the discovery of a fully decomposed human skeleton found along a riverbank. Locals who spotted the remains alerted the authorities. In the Barwaqo area of Wajir County, a 26-year-old man named Mohammed Salat was stabbed and fatally injured following an argument. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Police said a suspect was arrested hours later, and a kitchen knife believed to have been used in the attack was recovered from the scene. An autopsy was conducted before the body was handed over to the family for burial.

Tragic Incident in Bondo, Siaya County

Elsewhere in Kopolo, Bondo, Siaya County, a quarrel over a piglet killed by dogs turned tragic when a man allegedly attacked and fatally injured his neighbor. Police reported that Moses Owuor died at Uyawi Hospital after sustaining deep cuts to the head and face during the attack at his house. Owuor, who worked as a caretaker at a home where pigs are kept, had reportedly chased away a neighbor’s dogs after they mauled and killed a piglet a week earlier. Police said the suspect, who is yet to be arrested, allegedly trailed Owuor to his house before the attack. The body was taken to the mortuary pending an autopsy and further investigation.
