Growing Concern for Pastor Ezekiel Dachomo’s Safety
In recent days, a wave of concern has swept through the Christian community in Nigeria, particularly in Plateau State, as many have begun praying for the safety of Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo. This heightened anxiety comes after an alarming message circulated online, warning that the pastor is now a target for assassination.
The message was shared by an online group known as “Anonymous,” which has gained notoriety for its activism and ability to spread information rapidly across digital platforms. According to their post on Facebook, Rev. Dachomo’s life is under threat due to his vocal stance on the killings of Christians in the region. The group claims that Islamic extremists and bandits believe the pastor’s videos played a role in prompting U.S. President Donald Trump to issue a warning about sending American soldiers to fight terrorists in Nigeria.
The post from the Anonymous Group states:
“Photos of Pastor Ezekiel Dachomo have been shared among terrorists. They have been ordered to kill him within seven days, believing he is behind Trump’s statement. The militants are angry that he is exposing their actions. Please share this message widely to warn people and stop this from happening.”
This message quickly went viral, sparking a strong reaction from Nigerians who took to social media to express their support and prayers for the pastor. Many described him as a courageous servant of God who has risked his life to speak out against injustice.
Here are some of the messages shared:
- “Hurting him will be their biggest mistake. He has renewed my faith in God.” – Emma Ike Ogbonnaya
- “No weapon formed against him shall prosper. God will protect him.” – Maggie Sakala
- “Killing him will prove to the world that Christians are truly being targeted in Nigeria.” – Florence Obafemi
- “The Lord will fight for his servant; every evil plan will fail.” – Dakot Emmanuel
- “God who healed him from cancer will protect him again.” – Kushim Harrison

Many Christians have also called on security agencies to ensure the pastor’s safety while placing their trust in divine protection. Rev. Dachomo has long spoken out about the persecution of Christians in Plateau State and has consistently expressed his willingness to die for the truth.
As the situation unfolds, the calls for prayer and vigilance continue to grow. The community remains hopeful that both human efforts and spiritual intervention will safeguard the life of a man who has become a symbol of courage and faith in the face of adversity.
