This box contains 26–30 large-sized Bansi persimmons. These persimmons are known as ‘Bansi,’ which translates to “plate persimmons” due to their round and flat shape, resembling a plate.
Grown in the foothills of Bisulsan Mountain, south of Daegu, these persimmons benefit from significant temperature differences and ample sunlight, contributing to their high quality. One notable feature of Cheongdo Bansi persimmons is that they are seedless, making them an ideal snack for children and the elderly without the hassle of removing seeds.
How to Enjoy the Persimmons
When the Cheongdo Bansi persimmons arrive via delivery, they will be firm. To enhance their texture, a softening agent is included in the box. Customers are advised to store the persimmons in a cool place for about a week, after which they will soften and develop a sweet, jujube-like flavor. Adjusting the ripening time allows for personalized enjoyment based on individual preferences.
