Appeal for Support to Complete School Assembly Hall Project
Mr. Paul Kyeremeh, the Headmaster of the Christ Apostolic Church Senior High School (SHS) in Dormaa-Ahenkro, located in the Bono Region, has made a public appeal for assistance to finish the school’s 500-seating capacity assembly hall project. The initiative aims to enhance the teaching and learning environment at the institution.
During an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mr. Kyeremeh highlighted the need for support from various stakeholders, including church members, individuals, philanthropists, and corporate organizations. He emphasized that such contributions would be crucial in completing the project, which includes a standard library, sickbay, computer laboratory, and other essential offices. The project is currently being funded by the church, but additional resources are needed to ensure its timely completion.
The Christ Apostolic Church is actively involved in several development projects, including the establishment of more schools and hospitals. Mr. Kyeremeh expressed hope that with both in-kind and monetary support, the assembly hall project would be completed as planned. He specifically called for materials such as tiles, cement, and other building supplies, along with financial contributions.
In addition to the assembly hall, Mr. Kyeremeh commended the government for implementing the Computerised School Placement System (CSPSS) in private schools. This system is designed to streamline the admissions process and ensure fair placement for students. However, he urged the government to expand the pilot project to include more private schools, as this would benefit a larger number of students.
Mr. Kyeremeh also encouraged families to consider enrolling their children in the Christ Apostolic Church SHS. He pointed out that the school has the necessary infrastructure to accommodate more students, making it an ideal choice for those seeking quality education. The headmaster emphasized that the school is committed to providing a conducive learning environment and ensuring that all students have access to modern facilities.
The school’s efforts reflect a broader commitment to educational development and community engagement. By securing the required resources, the Christ Apostolic Church SHS can continue to serve as a model institution in the region. The ongoing projects, including the assembly hall and other facilities, are part of a long-term vision to improve the quality of education and support the growth of the local community.
As the school moves forward with its development plans, the continued support of the community and external partners will play a vital role in achieving its goals. Mr. Kyeremeh’s call for assistance underscores the importance of collaboration in driving progress and ensuring that students have access to the best possible educational opportunities.
