The Africa Tech Alliance Forum (AfriTECH 5.0) is Set to Launch

The stage is set for the fifth edition of the Africa Tech Alliance Forum (AfriTECH 5.0), scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki Road, Lagos. The conference will begin at 9:00 AM (WAT) and bring together leading technology leaders, innovators, regulators, and investors from across the continent. This year’s theme, “AI and Sovereign Tech: Building Africa’s Digital Independence,” highlights the growing importance of artificial intelligence (AI), indigenous innovation, and sovereign technologies in Africa’s digital transformation.

As Africa continues to push forward with its digital agenda, AfriTECH 5.0 will focus on how AI and homegrown technologies can drive the continent’s quest for digital autonomy, security, and sustainable growth. The event aims to foster discussions that empower African nations to shape their own technological futures while ensuring data protection and cybersecurity.

This year’s edition of AfriTECH 5.0 will feature a lineup of prominent industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators.
