Morocco to Host 2025 CAF Awards on November 19

CAF Awards 2025 to Be Held in Rabat, Morocco

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced that the 2025 edition of the CAF Awards will be held in Rabat, Morocco, on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. The event is set to begin at 7 p.m. local time (7 p.m. Nigerian time), and it will celebrate Africa’s top footballers, coaches, clubs, and national teams for their outstanding performances over the past year.

Nigeria is once again a major presence in the awards, with several of its stars among the frontrunners for major honours. The country’s Super Eagles players are well-represented across various categories, showcasing the depth of talent emerging from the nation.

Men’s Player of the Year Nominees

Victor Osimhen, who won the CAF African Player of the Year in 2023, is once again shortlisted for the top men’s prize after another stellar year in Europe. Other Nigerian nominees include Stanley Nwabali, competing for Goalkeeper of the Year, and youth player Daniel Bameyi, nominated for Young Player of the Year.
