According to the data, 70 percent of winter sun and beach holidays are booked by couples, who are heading off to various locations across the globe.

Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands, emerged as the most popular destination, with 71 percent of couples booking a trip there during the cooler months. The sunny island enjoys average temperatures of 24 degrees and is known for its beautiful beaches and delicious cuisine.
Tenerife, another Canary Island, closely followed Lanzarote with 69 percent of bookings. It offers average winter temperatures of 23 degrees and is renowned for its stunning landscapes and vibrant culture.
Dubai also made it into the top three, with 69 percent of couples choosing it as their winter getaway. The city boasts an average temperature of 31 degrees in the winter and attracts visitors with its luxurious shopping malls and breathtaking architecture.

Malta, a Mediterranean island, was another favorite among couples. Known for its rich culture and delicious cuisine, Malta experiences winter temperatures of around 21 degrees. Costa Blanca in Spain also made the list, with average winter temperatures of 20 degrees.

Marrakech, the famous Moroccan city, remains a popular choice for winter breaks. With an average temperature of 23 degrees, it draws in visitors all year round with its unique blend of history and culture.
Sharm El Sheikh, located in Egypt, proved to be a hit with travelers, offering average winter temperatures of 28 degrees. Antalya in Turkey, which averages 21 degrees in the winter, was also a popular choice.
Gran Canaria, another Canary Island, saw average temperatures of 24 degrees and attracted a significant number of visitors.

According to TravelSupermarket’s recent analysis, a seven-night stay costs just £328 per person, with average winter temperatures of around 17 degrees.
