New Date for Bhim Festival Announced
Organizers of the Bhim Festival, a major music event in Ghana, have announced a new date for the highly anticipated festival. The event, originally scheduled for December 26, 2025, has been moved to December 24, 2025, due to a scheduling conflict with another cultural program.
The original date clashed with the ‘Taste the Culture’ event, organized by the Black Star Experience Secretariat. After discussions involving the Ghana Tourism Authority, the Bhim Festival was rescheduled to December 24, while ‘Taste the Culture’ will take place on December 26, 2025.
A statement from the Burniton Music Group and the Bhim Festival Secretariat said, “All details (including the time and venue) remain unchanged.” It also mentioned that all tickets purchased for the previously announced date are still valid and can be retrieved at the various redemption centers at the venue.
The decision was made “out of respect for our wonderful patrons, and our desire to ensure that Bhim Festival delivers an exceptional customer experience in terms of security, crowd safety, traffic management, parking conveniences, and maximum support from the Ghana Police Service and the Fire Service.”
The Bhim Festival Secretariat emphasized that the move reflects its commitment to harmony within the national “December in GH” calendar. They stated, “We believe that our decision demonstrates our commitment to ensuring harmony within the national December in GH events and we hope that going forward other government agencies operating within the creative industry will support rather than compete with Ghanaian creatives.”
