In a thrilling final day of the sixth-round match of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2025-26, Karachi Blues emerged victorious against Peshawar at Marghzar Cricket Ground, Islamabad. The match was marked by exceptional performances from Mohammad Hamza and Saad Baig, who played pivotal roles in securing the win.
Resuming their innings from an overnight score of 92-4, Peshawar faced a daunting target of 510 runs. However, they were eventually bundled out for 291 in 81.4 overs. They were lifted to 614-9 at stumps on day four, thanks to Azan Awais, who replicated Muhammad Huraira’s 178-run effort from Day three. Azan Awais scored 164 runs off 253 balls, hitting 19 fours and one six.
