Sung Yu-ri Reveals Husband, Twin Sisters’ Fate Unveiled After Two-Year Silence

Actor Sung Yu-ri, known for her time in the group Fin.K.L, shared some personal moments during a recent appearance on an entertainment program. The show, titled I’m Going to the End, is a real health road variety series that travels across the country using a ‘Visiting Health Bus’ to address health concerns and provide solutions directly to those in need.

The episode focused on vascular health, with MCs Sung Yu-ri and Han Sung-jin discussing various aspects of vascular diseases with experts. They also explored practical health habits that can be incorporated into daily life.

Sung Yu-ri, along with Han Sung-jin and Lee Jung-eun, visited the Incheon coastal pier, where they were visibly excited about the sea breeze. Sung Yu-ri took the opportunity to pose for photos, showcasing her beauty through different shots, including a “MZ shot.” She suggested, “Let’s take a picture against the sea background.”

Later, the trio visited a fish market, where they listened to the health concerns of local merchants. During this segment, the topic of intimacyual glass came up as a food that promotes low-speed aging and helps reduce inflammation in blood vessels. This sparked curiosity from the group, especially when Sung Yu-ri asked, “Is the seaweed ear different from the seaweed ear?”

In response, an expert explained, “It is the same seaweed, but the nutritional content varies depending on the location.” Sung Yu-ri then humorously added, “Our babies are twin daughters, and they look so different. Does seaweed ear and seaweed feel like twins like that, too?”

The specialist responded, “That’s the way it is. Seaweed ear is a reproductive organ, the site where spores are made for reproduction,” offering an interesting piece of information that intrigued the audience.

There has been speculation about whether Sung Yu-ri’s return to the show will be separate from KBS2’s program in 2023. It has been approximately two years since her last appearance.

Sung Yu-ri married Ahn Sung-hyun, a former golfer, in 2017, and they welcomed twin daughters in 2022. However, Ahn Sung-hyun faced legal issues related to coin solicitation, which led to his suspension from public activities.

Ahn Sung-hyun was indicted for accepting billions of won from September to November 2021 at the request of Kang Jong-hyun, the real owner of Bithumb, to list Coin A on Bithumb. Alongside Lee Sang-joon, former CEO of Bithumb Holdings, Ahn Sung-hyun was accused of receiving 3 billion won in cash, two luxury watches worth 400 million won, and 11.5 million won in luxury restaurant membership cards from Kang Jong-hyun and a coin issuer official, Song. He was also charged with stealing 2 billion won by deceiving Kang Jong-hyun, claiming that the former CEO requested 2 billion won in listing requests quickly.

In response to these events, Sung Yu-ri expressed, “I earnestly pray that the truth about the unfair and hard work our family is experiencing will be revealed.” Despite this, Ahn Sung-hyun was sentenced to four and a half years in prison. He was released in June after his bail request was approved.

Since then, Sung Yu-ri has shown signs of returning to broadcasting through her appearances on home shopping programs. Fellow celebrities such as Lee Hyo-ri, Jang Young-ran, Park Eun-ji, Moon Se-yoon, and Park Ha-sun have offered their support through comments and messages.
