Vote for Kennedy Ohene Agyapong: Passion for Development and Job Creation

The Campaign for Kennedy Ohene Agyapong Gains Momentum

Mrs. Christiana Agyapong, the wife of Mr. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, a prominent presidential candidate from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2028 elections, has been actively campaigning for her husband’s nomination as the party’s flagbearer. In a recent address, she urged delegates to support her husband, highlighting his dedication to development, job creation, and youth empowerment.

She emphasized that Mr. Agyapong’s passion for development is unmatched, stating that with him as the NPP’s 2028 presidential candidate, the party could reclaim political power. This comes at a time when the NPP, the largest opposition party in Ghana, is preparing for its presidential primary on January 31, 2026.

During her speech, Mrs. Agyapong addressed female polling station organizers, secretaries, chairpersons, and former women constituency organizers and electoral area coordinators in Dormaa-Ahenkro, Bono Region. She expressed her belief that a government led by her husband would reinforce the human-centered policies and programs of the previous administration, thereby generating more job opportunities for the youth.

She also traveled to Nkrankwanta in the Dormaa West and Wamfie in the Dormaa East constituencies, where she continued her campaign efforts. Her message was clear: Mr. Agyapong is not only competent but has built an impressive reputation in the business community, creating numerous job opportunities for young people.

Mrs. Agyapong highlighted her husband’s generous nature, noting that he has provided essential resources to various health facilities across the country. For instance, he procured a standard generator for Tamale Hospital and facilitated the evacuation of 1,000 Ghanaians from Lebanon. Additionally, he has donated hospital beds and mattresses to many health institutions nationwide.

“My husband loves extending kindness and support to any person, regardless of their background,” she said. “In fact, my husband is the most favorable and best candidate to lead the NPP in the 2028 elections.”

Mr. Siaka Stephen, a former Bono Deputy Regional Minister and Council Chairman of the Bono Regional Campaign Team for Mr. Agyapong, echoed these sentiments. He encouraged the delegates to make informed decisions and cast their votes for the aspirant during the upcoming polls.

The campaign for Mr. Agyapong continues to gain momentum, with supporters emphasizing his track record of service and commitment to national development. As the NPP prepares for its primary, the focus remains on selecting a leader who can effectively represent the party’s vision and values in the 2028 election.

With a strong base of support and a clear message of hope and progress, Mr. Agyapong’s campaign is positioning him as a viable candidate for the presidency. His wife’s passionate advocacy, combined with the endorsements from key figures like Mr. Stephen, underscores the growing confidence in his ability to lead Ghana towards a brighter future.
