Alleged Genocide: Jandor Calls for Military Action on Insecurity

Leadership and Security: A Call to Action

Dr. Olajide Adediran, known as Jandor, the Lead Visioner of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, has called on the Nigerian military to enhance its efforts in combating insecurity across the nation. In response to claims made by former U.S. President Donald Trump regarding a genocide against Christians in Nigeria, Adediran emphasized that the administration of President Bola Tinubu has been actively working to counter the activities of terrorists and bandits.

During the inauguration of 900 grassroots mobilizers for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027 and the success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State during the general elections, Adediran urged Nigerians to unite and support the current administration. He highlighted that the government is striving to restore the nation’s lost glory.

The event, held in Ikeja, Lagos, was titled “Inauguration of Jandor of Lagos Political Grassroots Structure For President Tinubu’s Re-Election.” Adediran also used this opportunity to express his intention to contest the governorship election in Lagos State in 2027. He asserted that no one should underestimate the power of his group in grassroots mobilization.

“You have not done anything wrong for supporting Jandor for 2027. I came out on October 1, 2025, to say that I will be running for the office of the Governor of Lagos State in 2027. While we have expressed our desire, we will still support whoever the party chooses for the office, though we know we will be chosen.”

“We put this structure together for one purpose, to ensure the victory of the APC in 2027 in Lagos State, irrespective of who is on the ballot, and to ensure the victory of our leader, President Bola Tinubu, and it’s going to be self-funded.”

“We did the restructuring because we came with our team from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC.”

“The only ticket of the APC that is so certain today is that of the President because he has been endorsed all over the country by the party, and there is no vacancy in Aso Rock in 2027.”

“For our own, we are many, but God will give it to us. We will work, pray, and seek the mercy of God by the time the leaders of the party make the pronouncement,” he said.

Jandor stressed that there is nobody contesting to replace Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in 2027 who is not qualified, but that the group will work with whoever emerges as the APC candidate in 2027.

Addressing Insecurity and International Relations

On the issue of insecurity, Adediran stated, “President Donald Trump of the United States of America can come and help us to fight terrorists. When they asked me about insecurity on Channels Television, I told them that President Bola Tinubu would change any security personnel found wanting.”

“I want to advise the new security chiefs to step up their game or else they will be changed.”

“Foreign countries should stop giving us a bad name. We are a sovereign country. I am like a door, and I have seen both sides. I have been in the opposing camp, and I am now in the ruling party, so I can tell you what is happening.”

Urban Renewal and Government Policies

Commenting on urban renewal efforts by the Lagos State government, Adediran noted, “That is normal that some properties would give way for the overriding interest of the state, but the owners must be compensated.”

“I met with Igbo leaders to tell them that the government of Lagos State does not hate them, as they were appointed into the highest positions in the state, which is not done in other states.”

“We are so hospitable in this state, and we accommodate everybody. If you go on the wrong side of the law, even if the Governor is your father, he would not come out to defend you.”

Mobilizing for the Future

APC State Chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi, who was represented by the party’s Youth Leader in the state, Murtala Seriki, thanked the group, stating, “Pastor Ojelabi asked me to tell you to mobilise the people to get their PVCs and that we need not less than three million votes in the state in 2027.”

“He said that we should work rather than just talk and return to our wards and local governments to ensure that people collect their PVCs.”

“Without PVCs, we cannot get the number. Try as much as possible to ensure that the people in your community get their PVCs,” he said.
